VOTE TODAY
TURNOUT is how we defeat Boris.
His campaign managers and millionaire funders are not expecting most ordinary Londoners to turn up to the polls. They know they have the advantage of 'traditionally' higher turnouts in richer, Tory-supporting areas but it will only take a small shift in the number of people voting to cause a big change.
The system isn't complicated: you get two votes for Mayor and can vote for your favourite candidate with vote 1 then cast a deciding vote against Boris with vote 2.
Read, watch and share our voting guides for how the ballots work:
What the video says:
You can vote any time between seven o'clock in the morning and ten o'clock at night.
Everyone gets two votes for the mayor of London. In the first round you vote for who you want to be the mayor. The second one is a showdown: only two candidates will make it through. The winner is the first one over 50%, so make your vote count.
If your first vote is for a top two candidate this still counts in the final round and your second vote is ignored.
On the same day you can elect your London assembly members. You get two votes. One for the constituency section: it's a straight fight between Labour and Conservatives and one for the London assembly list. That's a proportional system so it means you can pick your favourite party.
This election's all about turnout: it's our London, not his. So get your mum, your brother, your dad, your aunt, your brother, your sister, your friends, your families, your colleagues: if you get them out to vote then we have the power to sack Boris Johnson.
Voting guide leaflet (click on the image to download a printable pdf):
You can vote any time between 7am and 10pm.
You don't need your polling card or ID to vote. As long as you are on the register you can simply turn up to the correct polling station and give your name and address.
Find your polling station here: http://www.londonelects.org.uk/im-voter/where-vote
Please make the time to stop there today and we CAN Sack Boris and get our city back.
